Domestic Mail Forwarding
 If you are moving within the UK or Overseas, you can arrange for your mail to be forwarded to your new destination. Many people leave this final detail until the last minute and then scramble to find the correct information. In the UK Royal Mail provides straightforward and convenient methods for arranging for your mail to be forwarded on to your new address within the UK or by airmail.
Royal Mail provides an international mail forwarding service for private mail at the following rates:
1 month-- £12 per surname
3 months-- £26 per surname
12 months-- £60 per surname
*This fee would cover the forwarding mail for anyone in the household with that surname.
It is possible to direct mail (outside of the EU) at a cheaper rate (half price); however, mail will be sent via surface mail, which can take up to 12 weeks.
International Forwarding forms must be obtained in person at any post office. Signatures of any members of your household who are over 16 years of age must be included on your form. Two forms of ID are required and you may pay by either cheque or cash at the post office counter.
